The tranquil landscape of a small uninhabited Greek island, aboard a traditional Kaiki boat are only two of the highlights of the Private Escape to the Greek Isles. It is the sun, it is the clear blue sky and clear sea that help you relax and unwind as Captain Dimitris calls by secluded bays and swim spots. Wind in your hair, sun on your face, you can catch some rays on deck as you set sail from Mastichari every Monday at 10.00 am

The picturesque bay of Vlychadia is located 6km south west of Pothia, the lovely capital of Kalymnos. The beach distinguishes for the crystalline waters making Vlychadia an ideal spot for a scuba diving and snorkeling experience for the rich fauna and flora and the fascinating seascape. The World Sea Museum awaits you with thousands sea findings and sponges!

The island of Nera is situated close to Kalymnos just across from the village of Vlyhadia. There is not much on the island: a little jetty, a building that used to be a taverna and the Church of the Holy Cross. The Church was part of n old monastery that has been abandoned for quite some time. The island is relatively small and can be visited in a few hours. There are a couple of small beaches that are quite remarkable with their clear blue inviting waters. There are plenty of seagulls on the island as they seem to gather there to breed and nest, and they tend to get all wired up when humans appear to disturb their peace. The abundance of trees and an olive grove near the church seem to indicate that there is some water on the island which would explain its name (Nera = waters in Greek).

The composition of Kalymnos' rocks has contributed to the creation of numerous caves. Many of those present, apart from geological interest archaeological interest as well, as they were inhabited in the past or were used as places of worship. Our visit at this place has the aim to let you swim in crystal clear waters. Nevertheless we will not have the time to visit the Kefala's cave which has 103 meters long, hallway with the huge stalactites and stalagmites. because it requires special clothing and climing skills. Just for your information at this place, the visitos can see traces of the worship of Zeus, which is the reason why the cave bears the alternative name 'Cave of Zeus'.
